So far, my experience with Twitter has been good. I think it is interesting to have a Twitter with all of your classmates because it's cool to get to know them a little on a more personal level. In college, I feel like you do not necessarily get to know the people in your classes because they are so big and you don't always get the opportunity to talk to them. Seeing what my classmates have to say on Twitter is always interesting because I get to hear new things from new people. The benefits of using Twitter are that it is more of a personal platform so you can basically say anything you want, and because of hashtags, it seems that there is always a new topic people are talking about. Twitter never gets boring. I have learned a lot about my classmates and about educational technology through this assignment.
I learned a lot of new things when making my web page design. I thought that making my own website would be very difficult but using Weebly, they made it so simple and so easy to use. It makes me want to make my own website for everything now. There are many aspects that are really easy to use on Weebly but some aspects are a little difficult and took some time to figure out. Some parts took me a little while to figure out, but after some clicking around and trying some things out, I eventually figured it out. This would help me with the next time I make a website because now I can better navigate Weebly so it wouldn't take me as long to figure it out. I could easily use this for my future career because no matter what your career is, you could use a web page for some reason. It is an easy way to put a lot of information all in one place in an aesthetically pleasing way.
Diigo is a very interesting site that I had never heard of before this class. It could have come in handy a lot through these past years because with all of the research papers and assignments I have done, it would have been so much easier if I had Diigo. Diigo helps you find sources that you may need in order to write a paper or do research or if you are just looking for a specific kind of website. Using the bookmarking and annotating tool really comes in handy when you are writing a paper and you want to use a specific part of a source. It would also help in a professional sense because the fact that you can share a number of websites with multiple people is really helpful to share certain sources with co-workers, students, parents, etc.
