Many of the class pages include the class objectives, quick links for the websites used in class, assignments, contact information, and announcements for the class. This class is for Nyack Middle school for Mrs. Peterson's 7th grade math class.

When I teach, I plan to use my phone calendar and to-do list in order to stay organized and up-to-date with assignments and due dates. I also plan to use Google Drive in order to keep all of my files and documents in one area. Working both at school and at home can be difficult when it comes to documents because often times you have documents on various computers and it is difficult to stay organized. By using Google Drive, I would have all of my documents in one spot and it would be much more easy to access.

Unfortunately, last week I was sick and could not make it to the Tech Sandbox but the things I was most looking forward to was the SMART board and the Apple TV. I have seen teachers use a SMART board before but it was very brief and I did not get to see exactly how it is used and all the different features of the SMART board. It seems like it could be very beneficial in teaching and it also seems like there are so many cool features on it that I would have never known about. The other thing I was looking forward to was the Apple TV. I own an Apple TV at home and I mostly use it to watch Netflix and Hulu but I was fascinated to see how they used it for educational purposes. I plan to visit the Tech Sandbox before the semester ends so that I can see all the technologies they use for teaching.
